The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course prepares the instructor to be employment-ready as a swim instructor who can teach and evaluate the swimming strokes and related skills found in the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program. Candidates acquire proven teaching methods, planning skills, and a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques. 8 hours of practicum teach time must be completed before the last day of class, any RDCK facility may host you for your practicum time. Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid and 15 years of age are Pre-requisites for this course .
